Directory Listing Terms

Last reviewed: July 2026

These Directory Listing Terms apply to organisations or individuals listed on VET Sector Directory. Listing information must be accurate, current, lawful and not misleading. The directory may review, edit, reject, suspend or remove listings that are inaccurate, unsuitable, outdated, promotional in a misleading way, or inconsistent with the purpose of the directory.

About this directory

VET Sector Directory is part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) initiative. The directory helps registered training organisations (RTOs), TAFEs, higher education providers and other education professionals find verified specialists, consultants, providers and service organisations connected to Australia’s vocational education and training sector. The website offers a searchable directory, category browsing across more than twenty specialist categories, a listing application form for businesses that wish to be listed, a contact form and a newsletter subscription. These terms are written for both sides of that audience: the education providers who search the directory and the specialist businesses that apply to appear in it.

Listing eligibility

Listings are open to organisations and individuals that provide services connected to the VET sector and that fit within one of the directory’s published categories, such as compliance auditing, RTO consultancy, validation facilitation, instructional design and resource development, LMS and eLearning, legal, marketing, finance, insurance, cyber security, LLND and RPL expertise, professional development and WHS/OHS safety. To be listed, an applicant must complete our verification process: submit accurate credentials and service details, supply references from RTO clients they have worked with, demonstrate relevant VET sector experience and outcomes, and commit to maintaining current professional standards while listed. Applicants that cannot meet these requirements will not be listed.

Applying for a listing and the information you supply

When you apply through the listing application form, we collect your business name, contact name, email address, phone number, primary service category, location, website address and a description of your services, together with the references and evidence of experience requested during verification. We review applications and aim to respond within two business days. You are responsible for ensuring that everything you supply is accurate, current, lawful and not misleading, and that you hold any qualifications, licences, memberships or insurances your listing claims. Personal information collected through the application is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our review rights

We may verify the information you supply, request clarification or supporting evidence, edit listing text for length, clarity, formatting or consistency with the directory’s style, decline an application, or attach conditions to a listing. Verification is limited to the checks described in our Verification Disclaimer; it is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of any listed business.

Fees, paid placement and featured listings

No payments are taken through this website. Browsing the directory is free, and applying for and holding a listing is currently free of charge: there is no online checkout, no paid placement, no featured-listing fee and no charge for enquiries sent to listed businesses. The order in which listings appear reflects category and presentation choices only and does not indicate paid ranking, priority or endorsement. If paid placements, featured listings or listing fees are introduced in the future, separate terms — including a clear refund and cancellation policy — will be published on this website before any fee is charged. Because no payments are currently taken through this website, no refund or cancellation position applies to directory listings.

Keeping your listing current and renewal

You must tell us promptly if your details change, including changes to your business name, ownership, contact details, service offering, location, credentials, memberships or insurances, or anything that would make your listing inaccurate or misleading. Listings are reviewed periodically, and continuation of a listing depends on the listed business continuing to meet the directory’s verification standards. Where we cannot confirm that information remains current, or where a business does not respond to reasonable requests to reconfirm its details, the listing may be updated, suspended or archived until the information is confirmed.

Suspension and removal

We may edit, suspend or remove a listing that is inaccurate, outdated, unlawful, misleading, promotional in a misleading way, the subject of an upheld complaint, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the directory. A listed business may also ask for its listing to be amended or removed at any time. The process, grounds and timeframes are set out in our Review and Removal Policy.

Limits of what a listing means

A listing is a piece of general information, not advice. Inclusion in the directory does not mean that VET Sector Directory, CAQA Groups or Career Calling International Pty Ltd recommends a business, guarantees its work, confirms its current regulatory or compliance status, or warrants that it is fit for your particular purpose. Users who engage a listed specialist contract directly with that specialist: we are not a party to that engagement, and users should complete their own due diligence, verify current credentials and insurances, and put appropriate written agreements in place before engaging any provider.
